We want to give a special shoutout to all of our partners/sponsors who helped us have a great year!! When we relaunched in February of this year, we didn’t know how we were going to curate all of the experiences that we had in mind, but we knew that we couldn’t hold out 1 more day from getting back to our mission! 8 months later, and we’ve been blessed to partner with some great people and companies. These partnerships helped curate a 1 of a kind experience for our boys, and we don’t take it for granted!! With that being said!! You haven’t seen anything yet. New announcements coming….. 💙🧡

We’re excited to announce our @thedetroitboysmentoring X @namicdetroit X @code313detroit X @comcast 2024 Career/ Back 2 School community event!! This is an event for our families to learn about available careers in the communications field, and we have some special surprises for our Boys to close and the summer, and get ready for school! It’s a blessing to have such great partners!!

This weekend we have a lit lineup coming to talk to our boys about careers, and entrepreneurial opportunities within the entertainment industry. Next week will be 🔥🔥. We are starting our career, and entrepreneurship month with @detpeoplemover @rollercade @remixdetroit We will be exploring careers, and touring the behind the scenes operations of The Detroit People Mover. Our kids will be able to hear from Kyle and the team about their road to entrepreneurship. We will then have a great afternoon of skating and fun. We appreciate the partnership and commitment to our Detroit Youth.

Starting this Saturday June 1st we will be launching our Animation Classes in partnership with @animation.discovery.studio. Instead of every other week we will be ramping up the learning experience with a 4 Saturday class! Our boys will learn how to build stories/scenes using animation!! Parents you don’t want to miss out on this free experience for your boys!! 💙🧡💙

Tomorrow The Detroit Boys will link with @konnectedfitness for our 1st family fitness night. This is not just about physical strength, but also strengthening the family bond as well. As black boys they need a strong village that will help push and pull them through this thing called life. Thank you to @coach.khari for opening her doors to us and being committed to sharing her gift with our boys 💪🏾💙🧡

At The Detroit Boys Mentoring Club, we strive to have an impact on the entire family’s wellbeing. With that being said we are having the 1st installation of our family fitness night that will be led by the awesome @coach.khari. We will be visiting her BLACK OWNED workout facility where we will have some conversations around the importance of fitness in black households, some ways to ease fitness into your business schedules, and some eating tips. This is a fun activity that will allow families to bond while getting stronger!! We appreciate the partnership with @coach.khari @konnectedfitness Follow and support!!

Every week we tell them the Streets, the cell, and the grave can’t have them!! We then go and give them a way out!! 💙🧡💙🧡 Not like us!

Appreciation post….. S/O to my brothers who show up every week ready to work. These brothers call during the week to ask what’s needed, and put their Saturday mornings aside to be there for our boys for free!! We appreciate each and every one of you. Tomorrow it’s ⬆️ ‼️ Vision boards & video games. We will be teaching the importance of having vision for your life at a young age. When you have clear vision it’s harder to fall to the obstacles and distractions!! We will be creating some well thought out vision boards, and then we will dive into our EA SPORTS programming lead by @code313detroit‼️ We can’t wait to see all of our little brothers 💪🏾

What a honor it was to be honored alongside some of the greatest community leaders, entrepreneurs, political figures, and pastors today by Pastor @pas_tor , and The Common Wealth Church!!! I don’t serve with an award in mind, but when people choose to recognize me it’s always a reminder for me to keep going!! I’m forever grateful, and will continue to serve my people daily.

I told my lil bros at King High If they didn’t see me after last week to call me personally and hold me accountable. I got here and gained some lil sisters too today. My message was a vision fit for Young Kingz and Queenz. 1) Put yourself in a position where you’re always able to what you see (your vision). Write your vision down put it on the wall, in your purse/wallet so when the distractions come you can always see your vision. 2) Your vision is your value. If you allow things/people to blur your vision, you’re allowing them to drop your value. Dennis Veal II is upholding the name of of the mighty crusaders. We appreciate you bro for allowing us to be apart of it.

Recognition is not why we do it, so when someone feels something we’ve done deserves recognition I’m always grateful. @allin1mentoring we won’t stop.
